I have been fortunate to have done a lot of traveling but always look forward to coming home to Halifax, which besides being one of the oldest cities in North America with all that history, we have many parks/gardens and green spaces, award winning waterfront area plus a vibrant downtown.....I love my city!

One of the historic buildings in Point Pleasant Park (190 acres) that is in the southend of the city. Owned by the Government of Canada it is "leased " to Halifax for a ceremonial 1 Shilling each year |

Historic Properties was built during the Napoleonic Wars and sometimes was used for smuggling and privateering that added to some of our "rich" history. Today its a gathering place for locals and tourists alike ( we are hosts for over 130 Cruise Ships per year) |
